There are places where some of the roads around the temple cannot be reached. Please note that the temple office is one step down. It is the billboard of Setouchi Sanju Kannon Cemetery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 倉敷市史跡の仁王門が有名らしいです。最寄りの「宝島寺」バス停からはバス停すぐそばの信号「宝島寺入り口」を500メートルほど北上すると案内の立て看板があります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今年、修復落慶された十王堂が宝島寺の新たな見所に加わりました。江戸時代までは極楽浄土を願う民衆の信仰を集めていたそうです。お堂の中には本尊地蔵菩薩、閻魔大王をはじめ十王の像が修復されて鎮座。小さな窓越しに拝礼できます。
This year, the restored Touou-do Temple has been added to the new highlights of Hotoji Temple. Until the Edo period, it was said that people worshiped for paradise. Inside the temple, the statues of the ten kings, including the principal image of Jizo Bodhisattva and Enma Daiou, have been restored and enshrined. You can worship through a small window.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場からでて階段を上がると観世音菩薩像が迎えて下さいました。広い境内に屋根が印象的な本堂も素敵でした。淑厳和上の石碑も拝見できます。御朱印はいったん駐車場に戻って寺務所で頂きました。
When I got out of the parking lot and went up the stairs, the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva welcomed me. The main hall with an impressive roof in the large precincts was also wonderful. You can also see the stone monument on Osho. Goshuin returned to the parking lot and had it at the temple office.
