S	Shan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hoshino cafe is a chain that does those soufflé pancakes that are very thick and cake-like. This one is very convenient to the station and fairly quiet outside of rush hour when workers are in their offices (unlike the Ginza branch close by which is usually much busier). The service was great by most of the workers, although one waiter forgot to bring the utensils with the food, but a waitress stepped in to fix it. It might help if you can speak Japanese. The pancakes take 20 minutes to make, whether you get the double or single. It comes with a small amount of cream and a jug of syrup of your choice. I prefer their French toast personally and enjoy their blend of drip coffees black. Ambience was relaxing and maybe a little prim but overall it had a quiet charm.

We waited 25 minutes pressed again and were told breakfast is over since 11am (at 11.05) after waiting 30 minutes to order. We then discussed until they agreed to serve us breakfast. It was full with Japanese Businessmen and it seemed like they were giving them all priority treatment even though they all arrived after us. While it taste good, we wasted way over an hour of our holiday which was frustrating.

C	Claralee Fung on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nom! I recommend their curry stone rice! I also had their shrimp omu rice but the curry stone rice was much better. Their pancake is not what I expected, it had a bread texture. It was ok, I wish I had tried their opera or other desserts, because they offer some other choices too. They take all major credit cards including American Express. Great service, English menu provided. When you order though make sure you point correctly and make your request as simple as possible. The staff at this branch don't seem to have a good level of English. There is both smoking and non-smoking areas which are far from each other, so I did not detect any cigarette smell. This place is chill if you avoid the lunch hours : )
