坂	坂田徹 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 静かな住宅街の中にあります。入り組んだ狭い道なので少し難しいかも、力石が6個並んでいるさまは圧巻です。 It is located in a quiet residential area. It may be a little difficult because it is a complicated narrow road, but it is a masterpiece that 6 power stones are lined up.
き	きんもくせい on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新堀城があったと言われており、本願寺討伐の際に織田軍によって滅亡する。そのため足利時代に創建されたと伝わっている。当時、新堀城には三好氏傘下の武将、香西長信、十河一行らが大将として織田方に交戦し、香西長信はその後敗れ捕らえられて斬首される。城の築城主は周防守某とされ、築城年や城の実態についての情報は不確かである。保利神社自体が村の中にあり、村が神社を囲むようにあることからランドマーク的存在であったことがうかがえる。また一説には村の周囲には堀が張り巡らされており新堀城は村全体が城郭で環濠集落のようなものであった可能性がある。そのことから村の名前の由来になっているかもしれない。現在、城の遺構はほぼ残っておらずそれを伝える石碑等も何も存在しない。城目当てで訪れるにしても、それを示すものがないのが残念である。 It is said that there was Shinbori Castle, and it was destroyed by Oda Army when Hongwanji was defeated. According to one theory, a moat is stretched around the village, and it is possible that Shinbori Castle was a castle-like moat-like village. That may be the reason for the name of the village. At present, there are almost no remains of the castle, and there are no monuments to convey it. It is a pity that there is no sign of this, even when visiting for the castle.
