★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山号を船目山と号する顕本法華宗の寺院で、元中3(1386)年、日什大正師が会津の国から日蓮聖人生誕地の安房清澄山へ赴く途中に開山したとされます。日什大正師が携えて来た榧(カヤ)の杖を地面にさして、『もしこの地が日蓮聖人の意に沿うなら、この杖は根付き、枝葉が繁り、花や実を結ぶであろう』と祈願したところ、やがて芽吹き、大樹へ育ったと伝承されており、日什大正師の『逆さ杖の榧霊跡』として今も尚信仰を得ています。西側に駐車スペースあります。

After praying, it is said that it sprouted and grew up into a large tree, and it is still worshiped as "The Remains of the Upside-down Cane" by Nichiju Taisho. There is a parking space on the west side.
