千葉県木更津市にある寺院。境内は田舎の田園風景のある町にあり、開けた場所です。街道を走っていると案内が出てきます。駐車場もしっかりあり、ゆっくりと参拝出来ます。
特に特徴のある寺院ではありません。新上総三十三観音霊場の御朱印は、据え置きのものがあります。自分の持っている新上総三十三観音霊場納経帳の第２番善雄寺のページと交換する様になっています。専用納経帳は、差し込み式なので簡単に差し替えが可能です。納経料は300円です。
