★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岡山の名物が何でもあって、味付けもおいしかったです。関東に比べると甘くて薄味なところが好きでした。ままかりっておいしいんですね。きびなごと勘違いしていました。
 Whatever Okayama's specialty was, the seasoning was delicious. I liked the sweet and light taste compared to Kanto. Mamakari is delicious, isn't it? I misunderstood it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 土曜日の18時前に飲み屋を探して歩いていたところ、良さげな店が多くある通りで一際賑わってるお店を発見。
店内はものすごい活気。
大箱で皆さん楽しそうに飲んでいます。
10分ほど店外で待ってからカウンターへ通されました。
目の前には大皿料理。
焼き場もあって大量の焼き鳥を調理しています。
これはいい酒場かも。
目を上にやると吉田類さんのサインもありました。
いい酒場確定だ。
つまみはイカ姿煮、刺盛り、焼き鳥、揚げ出し豆腐、ひら煮付けを注文。
煮付けの味付けがいい塩梅で酒が進みます。
2階で宴会が行われているようで焼き場が渋滞していて焼鳥の提供が遅かったですが、これはタイミング次第ですね。
昭和を感じるThe酒場の雰囲気で居心地良く、料理もリーズナブルで美味しい。
近所にあればの通うの確定案件でした。
When I was walking looking for a bar before 6 pm on Saturday, I found a shop that was very busy on the street with many good shops.
The inside of the store is extremely lively.
Everyone is drinking happily in the big box.
After waiting outside the store for about 10 minutes, I was passed to the counter.
A platter dish in front of you.
There is also a crematorium where a large amount of yakitori is cooked.
This may be a good bar.
When I looked up, there was also a sign of Mr. Rui Yoshida.
It's a good bar.
For the knobs, I ordered squid simmered, sashimi, yakitori, fried tofu, and simmered hira.
Sake goes on with salted plums that are well seasoned.
It seems that a banquet is being held on the 2nd floor, and the crematorium was congested, so the yakitori was served late, but this depends on the timing.
The atmosphere of The bar where you can feel the Showa era is cozy, and the food is reasonable and delicious.
It was a confirmed project that I would go to if I was in the neighborhood.

Yakitori and Sashimis are reasonable. Japanese tapas are varied and fun to choose!
the atomsphere is great and staffs are full oo energy.
I will recomdnd as great Japanese Izakaya restaurant

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to grab a beer and eat some tasty food. Many Japanese come here after work so it has a real Japanese feeling to its atmosphere. Also on Friday nights there are usually one or two foreigners there who can help translate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toriyoshi was recommended to us by our hotel for dinner on our one night in Okayama as a place where locals hang out. We prefer to eat at places locals frequent, since we love trying new foods and regional specialties.
The hotel was right - the place was packed with locals on a Sunday night. After we sat down and ordered drinks we looked around and we were taken aback by the large fishtank that was filthy. There were at least 2 dying fish floating at the top, and nearly a dozen sick fish struggling to survive in the cloudy tank (see photos). As we continued to observe the tank we noticed that one seemingly dead fish, which was floating upside down, was actually alive, though it's tail was being eaten by the others. We should have left as soon as we saw this horrifically irresponsible scene - both to make a statement to the restaurant that it is cruel and unacceptable, and also since it is a sign that the restaurant clearly is not concerned with cleanliness or quality.
As for the food, some things were good (grilled leeks) and others were awful (grilled eggplant, which was water-logged and flavorless). Mostly, though, the food was mediocre at best. It was BY FAR the worst izakaya we had in Japan, and we had a lot in our 3 weeks there.
Given the grisly scene inside the fish tank, combined with the uninspiring food, we'd recommend you steer clear.
