★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山科は蓮如上人が浄土真宗を一大宗派として完成させた場所であり、その後の石山本願寺から現在の浄土真宗に至る起点の場所です。広大な城のような寺領であった一部を感じられる場所です。近くには東本願寺山科別院長福寺や蓮如上人の御廟所等がある。
Yamashina is the place where Renshu Jojin completed the Jodo Shinshu as a major denomination, and it is the starting point from Ishiyama Honganji to the present Jodo Shinshu. It is a place where you can feel a part of the temple like a vast castle. There are Higashi Honganji Sanshinbetsu chief Fukufukuji and a shrine where there are people of Ren Ren.

It is the nearest temple from Higashino Station. The precincts are wide and the cherry blossoms are beautiful in spring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 少し場所は分かりづらいですが、その分人が少ないので、広い境内が静かで趣があります。観光バス駐車場がありましたので、団体の参詣者が来られると、状況が変わるかもしれません。
The location is a little difficult to understand, but the number of people is small, so the large precincts are quiet and tasteful. There was a sightseeing bus parking lot, so the situation may change when group worshipers come.

観光地化していない普段は静かなお寺です。
階段など段差も少ないため参拝しやすいです。
桜の咲く季節には観光客の方、
地元の方達が花の鑑賞、
写真撮影に訪れていて、
少し賑やかになります。
京都市交通局 東西線の東野駅から近く、
東野駅1番・2番出入口から徒歩5分程度、
距離は300mです。
三条通り、
京都外環状線、国道1号線など、
幹線道路から少し入った場所にあります。
寺の駐車場までは、
普通車、小型バスと中型観光バスは、
国道1号線（五条通り）から
生活道路を使って訪れる事ができます。
