The temple of Soto. Mihoguchi's Bodhi Temple is a Shibata lord. In the precinct, there is a "Weeping Cherry Tree" which is said to be a tree contributed by Tokugawa Iemitsu, and it was designated as a preservation forest by the mayor of Shibata on October 9, 1959 (1976). According to the informational signboard, it is assumed that the estimated age is 350 years at the designated date, so is it estimated to be approximately 390 years in 2019? According to the same sign, it is said that "Sakura in the Cave of the Caves" is the origin, but the details are unknown. In addition, it is a temple with many historical buildings.

Mr. Mikoguchi of Shibata lodging family bodhisattva. There are historical lord cemetery in the precincts. An admission fee of 200 yen together with the observatory of the data room. I can not admire in winter. It is wonderful to have a mountain gate built in 1845. Although the aging bruise can not climb hard, but ... (^ _ ^;)

The temple is located between Shibata Station and the ruins of Shibata Castle Ruins, and features a deserted corridor. The weeping cherry trees standing in the precincts are impressive, and when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring, they seem to cover the precincts with their majestic appearance. However, most of the citizens tend to go to the Shibata Castle Ruins, perhaps because of the festival. It's true that there are many cherry blossoms planted in the castle ruins park, and they are wonderful to see, but I can't help but think that it is because the temple precincts are empty that I can have them all to myself. One of the best ways to enjoy cherry blossom viewing is to find a place where you can have it all to yourself.
Located between Shibata Station and Shibata Castle Ruins, this temple features a deserted corridor. The weeping cherry blossoms standing in the precincts are impressive, and when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring, you can see a male figure that seems to cover the precincts. However, most of the citizens go to the Shibata Castle ruins, probably because the festival is held. It's true that many cherry blossoms are planted in the castle ruins park, so it's a wonderful sight, but I can't help but think that it can be monopolized because of the temple grounds where there are no people. For cherry-blossom viewing, finding a place that can be your own hideaway may be one of the factors.
It is a temple of the Soto sect of Buddhist temple of Mr. Mizoguchi, the lord of Shibata Domain. The magnificent mountain gate is wonderful. The huge tree of weeping cherry trees, which is said to have been promoted by Iemitsu Tokugawa, is famous, but the flowers have finished. Instead, the wisteria flowers were in bloom and it was beautiful.

A magnificent mountain gate, mortuary tablets of successive feudal lords, and a graveyard remain. This area is a Teramachi and is worth visiting!
