★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambiance of this restaurant was lovely. Great traditional-style restaurant with comfortable tatami rooms for dining, which were beautiful and clean. The servers were very friendly and courteous, and they had English menus. 5 of 5 for service and ambiance.
The food itself was a 3 out of 5. The portions are large for Japan (normal size if you are accustomed to American portions), so you will feel full, however the flavor and toppings were very basic and flat compared to other omurice spots in Japan that I have tried. The sauce on the omurice tasted like tomato sauce from a can, with very little other seasoning. The amount of meat was also very sparse. We ordered 5 different omurice dishes however none of us got much meat. It was mainly rice and egg. However, the rice inside tasted like it had been seasoned and fried, as opposed to other places that use white rice inside, so that was a nice touch. However, I prefer my omurice with more complex, savory sauce, and more refined toppings.
The price was good, 4 out of 5. Not the cheapest omurice, however I wouldn't say that it was overpriced either. Dishes ranged from about 950 yen to 1350 yen, which would have been a little expensive for such basic food, however the pleasant dining experience and the good service justified the price for me.
Note to foreigners: the restrooms are also traditional-style, so if you are not comfortable using an Asian-style squatting toilet, then you won't want to use the bathroom here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here around 830pm, no line up. This place is famous for their chicken omelet rice (omuraisu).I found the rice is not greasy and egg is perfectly cooked. However the tempura is not as good, taste like from frozen package.
I ordered the petit set and it is the perfect portion for me. Inside the restaurant is old style as the store was built with the Sukiyaki style architecture in 1950.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ignore the 1 star reviews... They're not meant to be flavor bombs, it's rice and egg with a ketchup based sauce over top. Also not supposed to be an American omelette loaded with meat. Photos are exactly what you get like most places in Japan. If you want max flavor I recommend the beef curry. Was more flavorful than the standard sauce... Because curry. Great atmosphere at tatami tables with a garden in the middle. Docking one star as it felt tourist focused with tourist prices and not authentic. Glad I went but probably not the best omurice in Osaka.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant serves some very original scrambled egg rice dishes, with all sorts of flavors for all kinds of tastes. All dishes are reasonably priced and quite generous in portion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this place after reading all the great reviews online. Honestly, I have to say that I'm extremely dissapointed with the foods served here. The omelette rice is so so, where the eggs are not soft enough and tasteless rice . Drinks are mostly can and bottle drinks. Environment is pretty nice though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place has a rustic, homely Japanese feel. You are required to remove footwear and use the slippers provided. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Although I am not a fan of tomato based omurice, I enjoyed everything that was served. Chicken pieces were battered and fried perfectly.
Follow cultural etiquette and use common sense. I've had nothing but excellent service here. Don't be a stupid gaijin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Felt a bit disappointed with the food. Not as claimed as the omelette is very thin and not exactly creamy enough.
Definitely a tourist place and old school tatami (need to remove shoes). The set lunch is worth it but I decided to go for the Ham Omurice + prawn + soup. The Prawn is not bad but the tartar is too much. As for the beef rice, the beef slices are really small amount....
Service is very fast but food subpar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's delicious with a unique flavor that I never thought I could eat omelet rice in a Japanese house. Two fried shrimp are topped on the omelet rice. Miso soup is attached to the omelet rice.
