★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新潟市内で一番の高台かな？40年前から展望台があり、昔はかなり❕スリリングな作りでしたけど、今は新しく作り替えられてました、晴れてれば❗佐渡島や新潟市の眺めが良いです。
Is it the highest hill in Niigata city? There was an observatory forty years ago and it was quite thrilling in the past, but now it has been newly remodeled.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 信濃川下流や、りゅうと大橋についで、日和山展望台は、新潟市屈指のサイクリング道路です。ここの駐車場に車を止めて、三十分程度、日本海や、砂丘を眺めて、散歩するのは格別ですね。下に降りると、自販機もありますね。是非とも利用しましょう。自販機とは、山崎タバコ店ですね。ちょっと遠いけど、ここも道の目印にします。
Following the Shinano River and Ryu and Ohashi, the Hiwayama Observation Deck is one of the best cycling roads in Niigata City. It is special to park your car in the parking lot here and walk for about 30 minutes, looking at the Sea of Japan and the dunes. If you go down, there are also vending machines. Please use it by all means. A vending machine is a Yamazaki tobacco store. It's a bit far, but I'll mark this way as well.

見所は、佐渡汽船や新日本海フェリーが入港するとき、町並みに船が進むのは感動すら覚える。
It is best when the weather is nice.
The highlight is that when Sado Kisen and Shin Nihonkai Ferry arrive at the port, I am even impressed that the ship advances to the townscape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日和山展望台の最寄りの駐車場です。20台くらいは停められるはずです。突堤で釣りをされる方々がよく停めているようです。
冬季の夜は10時くらいに施錠されてしまうようです。近辺の遊歩道は整備されていますが、みなとトンネル方面へ抜けていく時は夜は真っ暗で怖いです。
うちの母が変質者に遭遇したことがあると言ってました。
晴れた日の日中はとても気持ちのいい場所で大好きです。
It is the nearest parking lot of Hiwayama observatory. About 20 cars should be stopped. It seems that people fishing on the jetty are well parked.
It seems to be locked around 10 o'clock in the winter night. The promenade in the vicinity is well-maintained, but it is dark and scary at night when going to the Minato tunnel.
My mother said she had encountered a pervert.
On a sunny day I love it in a very pleasant place.
