また、阿仁合線があった時はここは終点駅だったこともあり、無人駅としては大きめの駅です。
この駅はもしかすると撮り鉄さんなら喜ぶ駅かもしれません。
まず、周辺の道の駅方面に向かいますと、渓谷＆鉄橋の絶景のスポットがあり、フォトスポットです。これ以外にも鉄橋は随所に見られます。
また、駅自体無人とはいえ、写真を色んな撮りやすいスペースがあり、内陸線を堪能出来ます。
四季折々、写真映えする風景を撮るにはここを利用してみることをオススメします。
