★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent a couple of hours there today with my kids and loved it. Lots of exibits for the kid to interact with including a huge train set that you (or your young ones) can operate. There is one of those things (which I can't remember what it's called) where the kids can climb around in.
If you are visiting Hiroshima and and you have children this is a good place to bring them, especially in the summer when you all might need a reprieve from the heat.
There is some English on the exhibits and it's not a lot. But I'm sure your kids won't mind (or know).
I'll bring my kids back here and maybe see you there.
Oh, and btw, it's free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for the kids to play. There were lots of interactive science exhibits for the kids to play with. It is a good place to take the children if the other places around there get too heavy for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum is free and well organized and kids love it, but as with everything else here it is all in Japanese which can be an issue if you don't speak the language.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very engaging two-story museum. There is a climbing area where kids can play and climb through a series of tunnels to the second floor. Everything is hands on so your kids will enjoy trying all the experiments. There is a steam train outside that kids can climb. The museum is free and the Planetarium is very reasonably priced.
