★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 集落から西への道が北に曲がる手前の城の北東部から山に入って行きました。 主郭から西に堀切・竪堀が６本あり、尾根の先端なのでこれだけ厳重な備えをしているのでしょうが、その土木工事量の多さに驚嘆しました。 堀切・竪堀には明確な路はなく、滑らないようにそしてなるべく上下移動の楽な場所を探しながら移動しました。
地元でも城に対する伝承もないこの城が、これ程見応えがあるとは行って良かった。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 中沢川の流れる谷に突き出した尾根に築かれた山城。武田信玄、勝頼の二代に亘って仕えた長坂釣閑斎光堅の城との伝説があるが歴史的背景はほぼ不明。無数の腰郭と背後の尾根と城域を遮断する五重の大堀切が見事。
 A mountain castle built on a ridge protruding into the valley where the Nakazawa River flows. There is a legend that Shingen Takeda and Katsuyori's castle served for two generations, but the historical background is almost unknown. The five-storied Ohorikiri that blocks the countless hips, the ridge behind, and the castle area is wonderful.
