なんとも古びた建物。のぼりが掲げられていて、暖簾も飾ってある。外にたい焼きとたこ焼きの値段表示もされている。営業しているだろうと思い扉に手をかける。普通に開いた。店内は閑散として、なんとも廃墟感漂うが、たい焼きというか焼き物の香りはするし、鉄板の上にはたい焼きのカスのようなものも散らかっていた。
入ってすぐのところに、グッタリとした表情で寝るおじさん。お店の方でしょう。ゆっくりとこっちを向いたので、たい焼きをお願いすると、『たい焼きやってないよ』の一言。え？じゃあ、たこ焼きをお願いすると、『人がいつ来るか分かんないから作らないの』と言う。それでも負けじと、何か食べるものはないか聞くと、『ない！』。
