春のつつじ・秋の紅葉が特に美しく、遊歩道も整備されています。駐車場から吊り橋を渡ると約20分で頂上。西に七ヶ宿の町並み、東に七ヶ宿ダム、北に蔵王連邦不忘山を望むことができます。
この山には京都祇園の名鼓と、山伏の悲恋の伝説が語りつがれています。
今から300年ほど昔のある冬の日暮れに、人目を避けるようにして、修験者風の男と気品の漂う美女がこの付近にたどりつきました。男は修行中の山伏、女は傾城の誉れ高い京都祇園の芸妓。厳しい掟に縛られた山伏と、自由のない芸妓との恋は世間に認められず、二人は手に手を取って京都を逃げるしかありませんでした。不安に満ちた長旅の末、ようやくこの地にたどりついたのも束の間、追手に追い詰められて白石川の渕に身を投げたのです。
その後、誰いうとなく「傾城森・山伏森」の名前がついたということです。また、二人が入水したあたりは地獄渕と呼ばれるようになり、芸妓の侍婢も、後を追ったため、東にある小さな岩山を侍婢山といいます。

The spring azaleas and autumn leaves are especially beautiful, and the promenade is well maintained. Cross the suspension bridge from the parking lot and you will reach the summit in about 20 minutes. You can see the streets of Shichikashuku in the west, Shichikashuku Dam in the east, and Mt. Zao in the north.
The famous drum of Kyoto Gion and the legend of Yamabushi's tragic love are told on this mountain.
At nightfall in winter, about 300 years ago, a man like a Shugendo and a beautiful woman with dignity arrived in this area, trying to avoid the public eye. The man is Yamabushi who is training, and the woman is a geisha from Kyoto Gion, which has the honor of being a geisha. The love between Yamabushi, who was bound by strict rules, and a geisha who had no freedom was not recognized by the world, and they had no choice but to take their hands and escape from Kyoto. After a long journey full of anxiety, I finally arrived at this place, but for a short while, I was cornered by a pursuit and threw myself into the Fuchi of the Shiroishi River.
After that, it was named "Keiseimori / Yamabushimori". In addition, the area where the two entered the water became known as Jigokubuchi, and the geisha maiden also followed suit, so the small rocky mountain in the east is called the maiden mountain.

頂上かと思ったところから少し下ったところに社があります
帰りに寄ろうと思った山伏森に行くほどの体力は残ってませんでした
雨上がりなどは苔や落ち葉で滑りやすいし、大きな石がゴツゴツして歩きにくいので、最低でもトレッキングシューズで登るべきだと思います
眺めはとてもいいので体力がある方はどうぞ
