★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和20年の東京大空襲で焼失した東大島地区の鎮守五社（永平神社・子安神社・小名木神社・北本所牛島神社・南本所牛島神社）を合わせ祀った神社です。創建は昭和24年（1949）。境内には各社の遺構が保存されているといいます。有り難く、”東大島神社”の御朱印を頂きました。
A shrine dedicated to the five shrines (Eihei Shrine, Koyasu Shrine, Onagi Shrine, Kita Honjo Ushijima Shrine, Minami Honjo Ushijima Shrine) in the Higashi Oshima area that were destroyed by the Great Tokyo Air Raid in 1945. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 由緒正しく歴史のある神社です。鳥居を潜るととても清々しい空気が立ち込めていて重みのある神社です。敷地内には八祭神や力石等が奉られており、子供が遊ぶ遊具等があり一角が公園の様に成っております。正面の鳥居は石段が数段ありますが脇の鳥居は段差が無いので車椅子♿やベビーカーの方はこちらからの方が宜しいかと思います。(^-^)/

Eight festival gods and Rikiishi are enshrined on the premises, and there are playsets for children to play, and one corner is like a park. The front torii has several stone steps, but the side torii has no steps, so wheelchairs and strollers should be here. (^-^) /
