★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 初山陰旅で倉吉を訪れました。煤竹を細く割いて緻密に編み上げた作品は、繊細で素晴らしいです。昔、ティファニー本店で販売されていたパーティバッグを雑誌で見たのを思い出して店の女性に話をしたら、他工房の高名な作家が作られたそうです。ここの中野竹藝が三越本店で作品展を行ったときの案内絵葉書を頂きました。そこには、ティファニーで売られていたのと同じように素晴らしいクラッチバッグが写っていました。この素晴らしい竹工芸技術を何時までも残して欲しいと思いました。
 I visited Kurayoshi on my first Sanin trip. The finely knitted work of bamboo bamboo is delicate and wonderful. When I remembered seeing a party bag that was sold at the Tiffany headquarters in a magazine, I talked to a woman in the store, and a famous writer from another studio was made. I received a guide postcard for Takenobu Nakano's exhibition here at the Mitsukoshi Main Store. There was a great clutch bag as it was sold at Tiffany. I wanted this wonderful bamboo craft technique to remain forever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いわゆる若者が好む雑貨屋です。イメージとしては鎌倉にある雑貨店みたいな感じで、食器から置物まで多種揃っています。店主のおばあちゃんが気さくな方で、地元のあれこれを教えてくれます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 竹の種類と特性に合わせて、加工する素晴らしい工芸品。鞄の様な高級なものばかりで無く、趣のある日常使いにも使えるものが、あります。天然の竹が原料なので、同じ物が２つと無く、丁寧に説明頂きながら、じっくりと選ぶことが出来ます。
百貨店などよりも随分とお安く、買えました♪

It was much cheaper than department stores and I could buy it ♪
