ま	まるふくかんたろう on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「フォッサマグナ」という名称は昔から聞いたことはあるが、断層と言われても想像出来なくて、そもそも本州の真ん中・糸魚川～静岡間に長い段差が走っているのか？そんなの見たことも聞いたことも無いし、ありえないだろう？などと妄想を勝手に膨らませているだけで長年モヤモヤしていた僕。ここでは僕や貴方のそうしたお悩みが解消できるよう、糸魚川静岡構造線で区切られた東西の地層の違いがはっきり解るように人工的に露頭を露出させてくれている。国道148線沿いに無料の駐車場があり、ここのトイレにパンフが備えられているので絶対に先に寄るべき。根知川に沿った遊歩道を登ると突然露頭が目に入って来る。あいにく間近に見られる川原まで降りられなかったのだが、剥ぎ取られた露頭も展示してあるので見て触って、頬ずりすることも出来るので（やってはいけないと思います）「なるほど。こんなふうになっているんだ」と得心する。ここから更に700ｍ進むと日本最大の枕状溶岩が見られるそうだが今日は断念。でも50年前からのモヤモヤが解消されてスッキリした。 I've heard the name "Fossa Magna" for a long time, but I can't imagine it even if it's called a fault. There is a free parking lot along National Highway 148, and the toilets here are equipped with pamphlets, so you should definitely stop by first. When you climb the promenade along the Nechi River, you suddenly see an outcrop. Unfortunately, I couldn't get down to the riverside that can be seen up close, but the stripped outcrops are also on display, so you can see, touch, and chew (I don't think you should do it). I am convinced. If you go 700m further from here, you can see Japan's largest pillow lava, but I gave up today. However, it was refreshing because the smoky feeling from 50 years ago was eliminated.
