目の前には赤井中央公園があり、晴れた日にはお子さん連れや犬の散歩にいらっしゃる方がいるようです。また、西側を流れる定川の堤防が完成したため、ジョギングやサイクリングを楽しまれている方も見受けられます。
ちょっとした集会やサークル活動に利用可能となっており、料金もリーズナブルなようです。
