10月から3月の間は、看板名物のあんこうの吊るし切りが見られます。そのあんこう鍋と〆の雑炊が美味しいのは勿論ながら、いわゆるお刺身料理や野菜の料理も欠かすことができません。あんこうのない時期にもねぎま鍋(ねぎとマグロ)や軍鶏鍋、折々の野菜を楽しむことができることが確かで、再訪が楽しみです。今回訪問したのは2月上旬、葉玉葱の炒めものと米なすの田楽が絶品でした。 二人で日本酒を八合(ご主人のご出身地から北雪の本醸造)いただき、十二分に食べて会計は一人あたり1万円ほど。 何よりもご主人の料理の腕に対する女将さんからの篤い信頼関係が非常に心温まるものでした。
