★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 凄い地蔵さんというのが第一印象。
石仏の左右に文明三年十一月、八尾西方寺と陰刻されているらしい。
文明三年といえば西暦1471年。
応仁の乱の始まりが1467年だから随分昔の石仏である。
ただ石仏といえばそれよりもずっと前、平安時代のものが数多く残っている。
それと比べるとまだ新しいといえる。
まぁそれにしてもでかい地蔵さんだ。
 The first impression is that Jizo is amazing.
It seems that the left and right sides of the stone Buddha are inscribed with Yao Saiho-ji in November 3rd civilization.

Since the beginning of the Onin Rebellion was 1467, it is a long time ago stone Buddha.
However, there were many stone buddhas from the Heian period long before that.
Compared to that, it is still new.
Anyway, it's a huge Jizo.
