★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for a family trip, and the staffs are so helpful not many of them speaks English, there's a guys speaks perfect English! The meat was fresh and high standard. It was a perfect meal! Loved this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really lovely, friendly staff (at least one who speaks English better even than he lets on :-)), excellent meat (we had several types of beef), and the tomato salad is copious and tasty. English menus are available if you need. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is awesome! My boyfriend and I found this place while walking in the downtown area. Neither of us speak Japanese so we were confused at first, but thankfully they had a chef that spoke English. We got the chefs choice which included a lot of different meats. I don’t like intestine so he offered to swap out for the lamb and chicken which were amazing! We’ve eaten at a lot of yakiniku places around Japan but this was by far our favorite! We both left feeling full but not overly stuffed like when leaving normal all you can eat yakiniku. It was well worth the price! Definitely will be back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just had a lovely dinner at Shoya. We had a variety of different meats as well as the tomato salad. The owner Keita was a wonderful host and is fluent in English. Fabulous service! If you are in the Shimoda area it is well worth enjoying dinner here.
