★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 母の実家が現阪堺電車の沿線にあったので、子供の頃、年に数回、利用したことがある。以来、四十年ぶりに利用した。当時よく走っていた1928年製のモ161型もまだ現役と聞くが、乗ったのはモ501型だった。これも1957年製なので、60年以上働いている。保守ができているから、今があるのだろう。沿線の学校に通学している学生さんを中心に混雑していた。

I heard that the 1928 model Mo 161 that was running well at that time was still active, but I got on the model 501. This is also made in 1957, so I've been working for over 60 years. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東天下茶屋駅と駅名は名付ているが、南海電車天下茶屋駅や阪堺線北天下茶屋電停迄は かなりの距離がある上町線の電停。
陰陽師安倍晴明 誕生伝説からの地名でも有り、安倍晴明神社や安部王子神社に近いので、晴明通電停で 良いような気がするのだが‼

天王寺まで一本で行ける利便性は捨てがたく、今も立派な現役の路面駅で地域の足に役だっている。
