At the time of the Kakitsubata Festival, bonsai and flower seedlings were sold on the spot. It was a fun event. I bought a large marigold for the first time in a while.

The Hiyoshiyama Shrine is relatively crowded because of the swallow flower festival next to it. The temple club will also hold some exchange activities such as a pot exhibition.

This shrine was solicited by the Hiyoshiyama Royal Palace Headquarters in Omi Sakamoto as the god of mountain gate protection when Mugenjuji was built.
It is said that the temple was relocated when the temple moved to its current location in the 12th year of Konin (822). After that, due to the flow of the separation of Shinto and Buddhism in the Meiji era, Mugenjuji Temple and Hiyoshi Sannosha were divided into land and continue to the present day.
The main deity, Oyama Mikoto, is also known as Sanno-sama, so the name Sanno-sha is said to have arrived. In the Edo period, it was said to be the deity of the Tokugawa family, and after the Meiji era, it was the guardian deity of the Imperial Palace.
