★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ご祭神は白山比咩神（しらやまひめのかみ）菊理姫命(くくりひめのみこと)と言う水の女神様で、漁師の守神としても崇められています。隣りにたつ崇福寺の守り神として、建てられたと云われています。
The god of worship is the goddess of water called Kukurihime Mikoto, the god of Hakusan Hime, and is worshiped as the guardian deity of fishermen. It is said that it was built as the guardian deity of the neighboring Sofukuji Temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古くからこの地域に鎮座されている氏神様、毎月末尾が1と6の付く日は境内に市が立つ。現在みたいにコンビニとかスーパーとか存在しない時は新鮮な野菜や海産物、乾物を求めて賑わっていた記憶がある、ちなみに肉も売られていたが、それは鯨肉だった。買い物に行く大人の手に引かれて様々な売り物を見て回るだけでも楽しい一時で、10月の祭礼には小学高学年のお姉さん達が神楽を舞う姿に見とれて、貰った少しばかりのお小遣いを握りしめ、おもちゃとかの露店で品定めした覚えがある。どれも遥か昔の出来事。

When I didn't have a convenience store or supermarket like I do now, I remember being busy with fresh vegetables, seafood, and dried food. By the way, meat was sold, but it was whale meat. Everything is a long time ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここに松原吉之丞一学が築城した今村城というお城がありました。後に松原一学一族は瀬戸市に移り、城を建てましたがその名も今村城とした。瀬戸市には碑などがありますが、安城にはありません。
