★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely place to end off a morning visiting the korakoen or castle or both. It has a pleasant view of the castle over the river. Prices are incredibly reasonable. We had the karage and udon dishes, which were very tasty. Reasonable sized menu with a variety of choices. Also OK to order coffee or green tea only.

It was a really rainy and gray day but this place was worm cozy and had very nice food for my taste.
I ordered Japanese pasta, coffe and desert.
Was really nice and the staff was also very nice people.
the big plus about this place,
You have the nicest view to the river and the castle ?! you can take how many pictures of food with castle in the background as you like
Would recommend to eat there if you pass by :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a bit overpriced but the kakigori (shaved ice) in the summer is really great here. The view is super nice and it’s very relaxing. The staff are very friendly as well. A nice place to cool down with a beer or just to rest and eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you stop by Okayama Castle or the Korakuen Garden, you must visit this restaurant/cafe. With soft jazz playing gently in the background, you can take in the view overlooking the river across from the castle.
Highly recommend their wagyu bento box ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is conveniently located between okayama castle and the korakuen. While dining at the restaurant, one is presented with a great view of the Okayama castle and the Asahi River. The food was good as well and the children loved the pasta. There is a fried mochi dish here which was really good.
