★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 洞海山平安寺(へいあんじ)は岐阜県揖斐郡池田町にある臨済宗妙心寺派の寺院で、西美濃三十三霊場10番札所である。
平安時代末期の応徳年間に白河法皇が谷汲山華厳寺参詣の帰途に病を得たが、弓削寺で湯治をして快癒した。その謝恩のために大般若経を弓削寺に奉納し、それを納める平安殿を建立したのが当寺の濫觴であるとされる。平安寺と共に創建時は天台宗であったが後に衰微した。
江戸時代の万治元年(1658年)に快伝和尚が再建し、臨済宗妙心寺派に改めて中興して現在に至る。寛文7年(1667年)には大垣藩主戸田氏信より黒印状を付されている。江戸時代末期に近在の秋葉神社に建てられていた二重の塔を境内に移している。
Doizan Heianji is a temple of the Rinzai sect Myojinji group located in Ikeda-cho, Ibi-gun, Gifu prefecture, and is the 10th temple of the Nishi-Mino Sanso 33 Sanctuary.
During the Otoku era of the end of the Heian period, Pope Shirakawa got illness on the way home from the visit to Tanikuyama Kegonji Temple. It is said that the temple was destroyed by the dedication of the Buddhist Sutra to the Yugeji Temple and the construction of the Heian shrine to store it. It was a Tendai sect when it was first built with Heianji Temple, but it later declined.
Kaiden Osho was reconstructed in the first year of Manji in the Edo period (1658), and it was reestablished as the Rinzai Sect Myojinji sect and rebuilt. In 7th year of Kanbun (1667), it was marked with a black stamp by Mr. Tonobu Toda, the lord of the Ogaki domain. The double tower built at the nearby Akiba Shrine at the end of the Edo period has been moved to the precincts.

参道からよく整備されており、見晴らしも良い静かな古刹です。
It is healed by the four season cherry blossoms blooming in a cold season.
It is well maintained from the approach and is a quiet old temple with a fine view.

You can get two types of stamps of Dosenji.
Heianji is the 10th place of Nishi-Mino. Dosenji is the 13th place of Nishi-Mino.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 弓削寺に行く途中に看板を見つけて立ち寄りましたが、なかなかの風情と存在感。
決して広くはないが､きれいに手入れされ、像や塔がバランスよく配置された境内はどこか風格も感じられとても心地よい空間でした。
特に少し小ぶりですが、二重塔の姿が空間を緊張感のあるものにしていて、印象に強く残るいいお寺さんでした。
I found a signboard on the way to Yugeji Temple and stopped by, but it was quite tasteful and presence.
It's not very large, but it was a very comfortable space with a nicely maintained and well-balanced arrangement of statues and towers.
It's a little small, but the double tower makes the space tense, and it was a good temple that left a strong impression on me.
