しかしその購入したお店は既に閉店してしまっており、困った挙句近所で親の代から何かと世話になっていたハヤシサイクルさんに部品注文を頼んでみた所、心良く引き受けてくれた。
その当時のご主人曰く、「実は頚椎間板ヘルニアになっていて、近々手術を受ける事になってる、退院した後は暫く休業するのでその前に注文すれば割と早く入荷するかも」との事。
結局、壊れた箇所がそれ程重要な場所では無かったのでそれ程困らなかったし、入荷した後ちゃんと連絡くれたし、特に問題無く交換してもらえた。
ご主人も今は術後からそれなりに時間が経っているのでかなり良くなっているとは思うが、術前には相当調子が悪そうで力仕事が出来ないと嘆いていた。お大事にしてほしいと思うが、後継者が居なさそうな雰囲気なので、この先余り長くは無いかもしれない。

I think my husband is getting better now because it's been a while since the operation, but he lamented that he couldn't do hard work before the operation because he seemed to be in a bad condition. I want you to take good care of it, but it may not be long in the future because it seems that there is no successor.
