その割には周りが住宅街のため、利用者がそこそこいます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 自動改札機が一番線（基本新潟方面）と二番線（基本豊栄、新発田方面）で別になってます。
初めて使う方は目の前の改札機で入っちゃうかも知れないけど、それぞれ別になってるので2番線発の豊栄方面行きに乗るなら一番線の改札から入ると歩道橋渡れません。（汗）
インターホンで連絡して一度改札横から出て渡ると面倒になるので気をつけてね。
ちなみにそこそこ本数走ってる路線（特急も貨物も走ります！）だから線路直渡りは絶対やめたほうが良いかと思います。
あなたが肉になっても他の人の迷惑になるだけです。
改札が特徴的なのとホームが狭いので乗り降りは気をつけてね。
トイレはないものと思ったほうが良いかと…?

By the way, there are a few lines running (limited express and freight run!), So I think you should definitely stop crossing the lines.

1・2番線どちらから発車するか時間によって違うし、いちど改札入ったらインターホンで連絡して改札開けてもらわないと反対のホームに行けない。
