A symbol of the town. Sacred place. Energy vortex. Must-visit location with top priority in Sendagaya. 富士塚、能楽殿、将棋堂、甲賀稲荷社、御神木の大銀杏・・・千駄ヶ谷の総鎮守。#sendagayan

Beautiful place. Saw some event notifications there, will try to attend them after I translate them from Japanese to English :) I wish English translation were provided already. I used my Google Lens built into the camera app on my Google Pixel phone a lot, so know that there was a lot of stuff written there in Chinese v/s Japanese. Will read up more about the temple to understand why.

Located near Sendagaya station, this place is a hidden gem. It has a mini Mt.Fuji, a hill out of rocks, it has little paths and is a delight to walk around. There is a small shrine, open weekdays where you can buy luck charms and an area where they perform wadaiko and ceremonial dances (weekends). During the summer there is a festival and many delicious food stands here. There is also a preschool. Just across there is Monmouth Tea, a delicious milk tea stand which is nice to stop by.

A lovely shrine in the depths of Shibuya, a great place to rest after a long walk or to pray for good luck. Sometimes have events going on that are worth a look if you happen to be around during them.

The best 神社( Shinto shrine) near Shibuya! It is elegant with many hydrangeas in early summer! You can get the cutest bird-shaped おみくじ (omikuji) in Tokyo.

Cute little shrine right next to the sports park. Highlight: climb the "Mini Fuji" here and enjoy the breathtaking view from the mountain top!

Beautiful Shinto Shrine located near Sendagaya station. Maybe 10min walk, or less. It has a cute little bamboo forest and a little version of the Fuji mountain, a little hill you can climb up. The atmosphere is very nice and the Shrine very well maintained. I strongly recommend visitors to stop there and have a look =) Hachiman is one of the many gods in Shintoism, it is known as the God of War. The place seemed pretty peaceful to me though.
