It is located beside the Atami Beach Line, but there is no parking lot.
If you go on foot, I think you should go down the stairs from the approach to Izusan Shrine to the sea side.
It is said that it is a horizontal hole type hot spring, which is rare in Japan, but there is a water tank that stores (exits) hot springs, and I think that the horizontal hole that follows it is more imaginative.
The size of the side hole is like an adult with a height of about 175 cm bends a little, and the depth is about 10 meters? You can reach the back immediately.
The inside is very hot because it is steamed with the steam of the hot spring.
I visited there in March, so I thought it was just right, but I couldn't stay inside for a few minutes because of the bad clothes.
Also, due to the humidity, the smartphone becomes cloudy and I cannot take pictures well.
If you want to take pictures, I think a waterproof smartphone is good.
Digital cameras are no good! Zettai!
The tour time is about 10 minutes like that, but isn't it worth visiting even though it's small?
There is only one feeling of strangeness.
The explanation on the information board says "Japan's Three Great Koizumi", but I think "Japan's Three Great Koizumi" is "Arima Onsen (Hyogo Prefecture), Shirahama Onsen (Wakayama Prefecture), Dogo Onsen (Ehime Prefecture)". I was there, but at what time did Atami break in?
If you know it, please let me know because a powerful theory does not come out even if you look it up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very easy to find, it's behind a restaurant. Can go in and see the spring, but has to be careful of the hot steam!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Intense steam of natural hot spring.
It is quite a sight. If u happen to be in that area, u shld definitely visit there along with a shrine with lots of stone steps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small -and very hot! - tunnel with a hot spring at the end. A lot like wet sauna, but when you get out, you're going to feel refreshed ?
There is a place where you can try bathing in the hot springs. It's a 10-15min climb, though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is smaller than I expected and I only spent less than 5 minutes in this area.
But it’s nice if you are the first time go there.
However, I won’t recommend you to waste time to travel there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lack of transportation and nothing else to do near by.
Literally it’s not officially recognized as of “big 3 hot springs (historical)” although it claimed itself was.
Kinda waste of time.
