★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 春日大社へお参りに来た方の『祓い清めたまえ』のお祓いをして頂く神社です。次に清めの手水所へ進みます。汚れたなりして願い事されても神様も横を向かれるでしょうから先ずは此方でお祓いして頂きましょう。正面の少し傾いた石灯籠は春日大社に沢山ある灯籠でベスト５に入る傑作です。室町時代の灯籠と推定されるこの灯籠は利休好みだったのか茶道で大変好まれ茶室の庭に写しが良く置かれています。

瀬織津姫は、手向山神社の参道沿いにある鑰取（かぎとり）神社にもお祀りされています。
