Hon'gū Shrine Place of Worship - Nara

Mikado, where Takemikazuchi's Mikoto, the deity of Kasuga Shrine, who rode a white deer, was said to have landed, is said to be the beginning of the founding myth of Kasuga Taisha. It is a forbidden land that cannot be visited directly.
