★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the Samgetang and it was delicious and had large servings. They also have a small salad bar and drink bar. Smoking is allowed even during lunch hours. It can be very crowded, though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience I've EVER had at a restaurant. When we arrived the manager told us to go up to the table we had reserved and people were already sitting in our seats, no cutlery or plates, took 15 minutes to bring water and drinks even though they suggested it'd be faster to order tanpin rather than nomihoudai. When they brought our food out we were given no cooking utensils so assumed they would turn over the food then cut for us however they didn't return back for 10 minutes when the food was already burnt.
When we complained, there was no apology and the manager was extremely rude. Will never go to this restaurant again and would really advise people if they want good service to go to Tonchan.

1) they couldn’t prep the menu because “it took too long / couldn’t prepare by the next customer came in”
2) the store owner yelled at us
3) threatened the call the police
Very weird experience, I wanted to be considerate and understanding but a bit difficult.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here on New Years eve when most places were closed or completely full. They turned us away at first due to full capacity but I guess they found a way for us to get in so we waited a little and we could sit down. We had the tteokbeokki, Korean pancake and army stew ( can’t remember Korean name) . It was all delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for good food. This is the place you should avoid.
There were good reviews from the past, so we gave it a try during lunch time.
No need to be an expert in Korean food to know their rice set is horrifying. There wasn’t even kimchi inside. The only thing I won’t complain was the nori(seaweed) for salad. But it was far from good as well.
