★ ★ ★ ★ ★ People are always talking about how expensive it is to live in Tokyo, but they probably need to reassess where they shop. Hanamasa started as a wholesale meat market but has expanded into a general grocery store chain, somewhat geared toward small business. Much of there food comes in larger quantities, but they also sell in smaller portions. And, it's one of the cheapest places for certain items - like meat.
