花巻市石鳥谷町大瀬川地区にある奥羽山脈を源とする葛丸川に(三ッ鞍)一の滝というのがあります。一の滝と言うくらいだから二の滝、三の滝とかあるのだろうと思いますが、近辺にそれらしき滝は見当たりません。枝沢からの滝はいくつかありますが別の名前だったりします。そもそも枝沢から落ちている滝が１、２、３と続いてるわけではないので違うはずです。そういってる間に上流部にある葛丸ダムに当たってしまいます。ダムができる前は集落や平滝と呼ばれる滝があったそうですのでこれらと同じくダムの底に沈んでしまったかとしばらく思っていました。ダムを超えた10キロ上流に段々の滝と言うのがあり、これが一の滝の続きと書いている看板の写真を見つけました。(一の滝の所にある)しかも五の滝まであるんですねぇ。ひたすら林道を進んでいくと「朴の木橋」というのがあります。ここから葛丸川に向かって枝沢が伸びていますので沢沿いに進んでいきます。道はありませんので藪漕ぎになります。葛丸川に出たら上流に向かって進んでいくと100mも行かないうちに二の滝が見えてきます。そこから連続で渓流瀑が続いています。

There is (Mitsukura) Ichinotaki in the Kuzumaru River, which originates from the Ou Mountains in the Osegawa district of Ishidoriya-cho, Hanamaki City. I think there are two waterfalls and three waterfalls because it is called one waterfall, but I can't find any of those waterfalls in the vicinity. There are several waterfalls from Edazawa, but they have different names. In the first place, the waterfalls falling from Edazawa do not continue to 1, 2, and 3, so it should be different. In the meantime, I hit the Kuzumaru Dam in the upper reaches. Before the dam was built, there were villages and waterfalls called Hirataki, so I was wondering if they had sunk to the bottom of the dam for a while. There is a stepped waterfall 10 km upstream beyond the dam, and I found a photo of a sign that says this is a continuation of Ichinotaki. (It's at Ichinotaki) And there are even five waterfalls. If you keep going along the forest road, you will find "Park Tree Bridge". Edazawa extends from here toward the Kuzumaru River, so proceed along the river. There is no road, so you will be rowing in the bush. If you go upstream on the Kuzumaru River, you will see Ninotaki within 100m. From there, the mountain stream waterfall continues.
