★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the best place I visited for lunch while briefly visiting Kyoto. It's tiny, as it hardly fitted our group of nine people. Nevertheless, very delicious food, friendly cook (who spoke simple English), and a surprisingly low price. My highest recommendations!
