Kamakura Hamazen serves up delicious food, unpretentious counter-style service, and friendly family atmosphere created with ease by delightful owner-chef and spouse. Great selection of sake, and daily fish bought directly by the chef from the fishermen. The Japanese menu was daunting, so we asked in English for good sake and sashimi, and they served us an exquisite meal. While we were there, a fisherman came in with fresh sazae, which we had cooked up immediately.
