駅からもアクセス良好、2月半ば頃からは河津桜もセットですが、それ抜きでも一見の風景。

訪れた11日には満開状態でした。
3月には間違いなく葉桜でしょう。
この付近は桜どうしが密集していて見ごたえありますが、見物人も密集しています。
夜桜のライトアップはこの付近で行われます。
今年で伊豆急を走るスーパービュー踊り子号や伊豆クレイルの運行が終了する為か、鉄橋を渡る車両と桜の撮影をする撮り鉄の方も多く見られます。
2022年訪問
今年はこちらも寒波の影響を受けていて、折角桜祭り開催期間を10日早めたのに、祭り終了頃に満開予想という何とも言えない状況です。?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022年2月26日土曜日の16時50分に行きました。下流の方から満開になるようで、赤い橋付近から海側にかけて現在満開〜葉桜なかんじです。上流の方に進むと、1分咲きというかんじだったので3月入ってからが見頃かな？という印象でした。
みかんジュースがすごく美味しくておすすめです！駐車場はどこもだいたい1000円くらいでした。
最後まで下流に進むと海が見えて綺麗でした。ぜひ行ってみるのをおすすめします
