蜂須賀正勝公生誕の地「蜂須賀城」
城跡の遺構は何もないが、蜂須賀正勝公の顕彰碑が建っておりすぐ横の蓮華寺は蜂須賀家の菩提寺で蜂須賀正勝・家政親子の位牌が安置されています。
【歴史】
蜂須賀氏は斯波氏の庶流とされ、鎌倉時代末期頃に尾張国守護斯波義重に従って蜂須賀郷に入った。
その後斯波氏は衰退し蜂須賀正利の時代になると美濃国の斎藤道三に従います。正利が死去すると嫡子蜂須賀正勝(蜂須賀小六)は蜂須賀城を出て斎藤道三の近侍となりました。
これは、敵対した織田信秀によって蜂須賀城を奪われたともされ、母の安井御前の実家宮後城へ逃れたと考えられます。
その後蜂須賀正勝は、木下秀吉に協力するようになり墨俣城の築城に貢献するなどし後世に名を残しました。

Hachisuka Castle, the birthplace of Masakatsu Hachisuka
There is no remains of the castle ruins, but the monument to honor Hachisuka Masakatsu is built, and the Rengeji Temple next to it is the Hachisuka family's family temple, where the mortuary tablets of Hachisuka Masakatsu and the housekeeper are enshrined.
【history】
Mr. Hachisuka was considered to be the mainstream of Mr. Shiba, and entered Hachisuka Township at the end of the Kamakura period according to Yoshishige Shiba, the guardian of Owari Province.
After that, Mr. Shiba declined and followed Dosan Saito of Mino Province in the era of Masatoshi Hachisuka. When Masatoshi died, Masakatsu Hachisuka (Koroku Hachisuka) left Hachisuka Castle and became a valet of Dosan Saito.
It is believed that Hachisuka Castle was robbed by the hostile Oda Nobuhide, and that he escaped to Miyaushiro Castle, his mother's home in front of Yasui.
After that, Masakatsu Hachisuka began to cooperate with Hideyoshi Kinoshita and contributed to the construction of Sunomata Castle, leaving a name for posterity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お寺の入り口に石碑、説明板等がある。周りは平地で大きな川も見つからず、どのよな縄張りだったのか想像ができなかった。
There are stone monuments and explanation boards at the entrance of the temple. I couldn't imagine what kind of territory it was, because I couldn't find a big river on the plain.

遺構は何も残っていません。
