★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 地区の方々のための小ぶりな神社ではあるけれど、非常に大きく立派な獅子頭が一対、拝殿内に鎮座しており、賽銭を上げながら見ることができる。この大きさは、かぶって舞えるようなものではないので、純粋な奉納用だと思うが、この地区の経済的な豊かさを感じさせる。
Although it is a small shrine for the people of the district, a pair of very large and magnificent lion heads are enshrined in the hall of worship, and you can see them while raising money. This size isn't something you can wear and dance, so I think it's a pure votive offering, but it makes you feel the financial affluence of the area.

参道の両脇には草加八幡宮“恵比寿様”と寝起きを共にしてきた住民民家が建ち並びます。
境内には“手水舎”もありますので、作法に則った参拝に是非とも挑戦してみて下さい (^o^)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雌雄一対の獅子頭が祠の中にあります。ものすごく大型で、とても獅子舞とかで使用したとは思えません。江戸末期の作だそうです。東武鉄道の各駅案内みたいなので紹介してたので、草加在住25年で初めてお行儀気にしながらのぞいてみたんです。御開帳あればしげしげと見物できるんですが。。
参道は私道になっていて、住宅と住宅に挟まれた感じでなかなか入りづらいんです。ちょっとじめっとした感じなので、レーカン(霊感)というアニメのオープニング映像にも登場したことがあるそうです。
狭い境内には立派な桜、銀杏が植わっていて、季節になれば見事な花ふぶき、紅葉がみられます。
草加七福神の恵比寿様をご担当、草加八幡宮とか、高砂八幡の別名もあるそうです。

The approach is a private road, and it's hard to get in because it feels like it's sandwiched between houses. It's a bit dull, so it seems that it has appeared in the opening video of the anime Re-Kan (inspiration).
The narrow precincts are planted with splendid cherry blossoms and ginkgo trees, and when the season comes, you can see splendid flower sprays and autumn leaves.
He is in charge of Ebisu, the Seven Lucky Gods of Soka, and is also known as Soka Hachimangu or Takasago Hachiman.
