★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic restaurant. The beef is very soft and delicious, and the presentation is both appealing and fun. Cooking the meat on the stone plate to your liking is also a highlight. It may seem a little pricey but it is damn worth it. There is only the gyukatsu on the menu, which is more than enough.
Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For our last night at Tokyo, we wanted to get beef, and this place did not disappoint! Their steak was lightly coated in flour and fried (already rare). To finish it off, you have to put it on top of hot stones and sear it to your liking. Delicious dinner and awesome experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well hidden away in a basement ment level of the street corner. If you make it down here you will find an awesome Japanese beef barbeque style restaurant. Beef is served rare and each person gets a personal fire grill pot to cook Thier steak on. Awesome traditional Japanese atmosphere... Also I got a free coke for posting this!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beef cutlet katsu that you can cook yourself on the hot plate. I ordered the 130g cutlet set (minus yam) and it was ¥1300. Definitely good value for money. Beef has a good amount of marbling and is tender and juicy. However, the fried batter was a little too greasy. Portions were good sized. They serve cold tea to have with your meals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gyukatsu Motomura is one of my favorite chain restaurants and I go to have with friends very often. As I knew, many tourists also know this restaurant and you need to wait for 20-30 minutes above.
The restaurant is in the Akihabara, it is easy to find but may have a problem in ordering if you cannot understand Japanese. Fortunately, they have an English/ Chinese menu so do not worry about it if you try to order in these languages.
For the food set, you can select regular or large size meal . If you are not hungry, the regular one would be find for you. The beef fillet breaded is so delicious that I cannot forget anymore. The miso soup and rice are good as well.
I really recommend the food if you visit to Japan at first time. You may experience that Japanese service is kind of different from other culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely recommend. The beef is tender and you can cook it on the burner to exactly how you want it. They give you a variety of options to eat your meat, with their sauce, pink salt, soy sauce and wasabi etc. They have cute side dishes for you to try and the meal comes with cabbage salad with sesame dressing and a soup. The price is super affordable and reasonable. I would return next time I’m in Akihabara !
