Also even though there was no other guests besides us we did not get the table we wanted. Eventually we gave up and went to another place. Very disappointing as we were waiting for this dinner and made a reservation a week in advance.

The burgers are so tender and delicious and they come with either cheese or mushrooms and a demi-glace kind of sauce. The place is loud and cowded but in a lively and pleasant way. Amazing value. I come here every time I happen to be in Nishishinjuku

But the stone grill they've used to cook on the table was quite dirty and had hard burnt bits from previous customers. Chef seemed to be amused on how much rice I ate, as it was all you can eat for the meal I got, he came out of the kitchen to see who was eating that much and laughed with their wait staff. I would not go back for the staff being so rude and incapable of giving any decent customer service. I felt little racial discrimination from one of the staff.
