The store had a fashionable and calm atmosphere. As for the cake, I ate Mont Blanc and chocolate cake. I'm glad that Mont Blanc has an elegant taste and rum works well. The chocolate wasn't too sweet, but it was rich and delicious. After asking for a cake, I went upstairs to order a drink, but I feel that the waiting time was long for a cup of latte. Lol There was an unfriendly clerk, but the smile of the veteran clerk was wonderful.

Whichever I ate, it was delicious! !! I was at a loss because there were so many. So I bought a lot. smile Everything was really delicious. I had the impression that the moist sponge cake was stronger than the crispy cake. However, the sweetness is strong, so coffee is essential.

It is a pastry shop where you can eat in. Near the entrance of the sales floor below, there are many things that people will be happy to give, such as a financier with the image of a cat's paws and various kinds of cute cookies in cute cans! You can eat in on the 2nd floor, but the system is to first select the cake in the showcase on the 1st floor and then move to the 2nd floor, so don't make a mistake ... The cake is a little expensive, but you finish eating from the first bite. It was delicious all the time! I chose the matcha Mont Blanc, but the matcha is strong anyway! !! Inside, there was a layer of crispy cookies and chestnut cream, but because the matcha on the outside was thick, maybe I should have made a milder drink instead of espresso ? I want to try a different cake next time I thought!

Excellent quality patisserie, up there with the greats like Pierre Herme etc etc. They have a good selection of cakes and deserts as well as premium quality tea. Cash only.

(Trip was made back then on 10 Dec 2019, 2 years before the Covid-19 Pandemic hit) It’s not often that you encounter something extraordinary, but after having tasted Gregory Collet’s cakes, you know that they stand out from the rest of the crowd. Their creations not only looked refined but also tasted heavenly. The cakes we tried were: 1. Strawberry Shortcake: The white chocolate shell and mousse were subtle and not overly sweet, which complimented the fruity berry aroma of the strawberry filling. The whipped cream was very light and fragrant. 2. Savarin Orange: There was the zesty orange aroma thanks to the orange custard and diced orange filling. The addition of the piped orange liqueur gives it more depth in flavour and complexity in its taste, while offsetting some of the sweetness. 3. The Avant Garde: It consists of a chocolate ganache encased in a vanilla cream mousse resting on a praline base. The chocolate ganache was rich and smooth, and the vanilla custard mousse tasted like the best vanilla custard ever. The praline base adds not only wonderful texture but a nice Smoky note to it (like burnt caramel). 4. Chocolate Tart: The chocolate cake was very intriguing. The milk chocolate filling was the smoothest I’ve ever tasted (velvety smooth). Not sure what they did or added to the milk chocolate filling, but it also had a unique complex taste (unlike the plain milk chocolate taste). Some sort of black tea perhaps? It also has purées dates as the filling and a garnish. Now I’m not a fan of dates, but the date purée surprisingly complimented the chocolate tart very well. Having chosen 4 cakes, I thought that I’d be disappointed with 1 or 2 of them. However, all of them have hit the mark and were really impressive, which made this the most exquisite patisserie out of all the patisseries I’ve tried before. Their staff were also friendly and provided such gracious service. A perfect 10 out of 10 and one you can’t afford to pass up on. Sadly we’re unable to travel to Japan due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Otherwise, I would buy a plane ticket to Kobe just for their desserts.

Had a lovely tea time here today. Not so busy; kind staff. Delicious cake and coffee. Building is pretty trendy too. Not the cheapest place in town, but then you pay for quality.
