★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 亀姫は、永禄3年(1560)6月4日、徳川家康の長女として駿河国に生まれ、母は家康の正妻、駿河御前(のちの築山御前)です。2代将軍秀忠をはじめ、尾張義直、紀伊頼宜、水戸頼房などは亀姫の弟にあたります。
永禄5年、岡崎城に移り、天正4年(1575)17歳の時、奥平信昌の妻となりました。同年12月22日、西尾吉次が輿を守って新築まもない新城城へ輿入れしたといいますが、実際は乱世のことであるので、途中で輿を奪われるのを恐れて、これより先の7月に藤尾某が亀姫を背負ってひそかに城に入り、正式入輿のときには空であったともいわれています。
亀姫の新城で暮らしは15年間におよび、その子家昌、家治、忠政、忠明の4男と1女(千姫)は皆、新城で生まれています。
 Kamehime was born in Suruga Province on June 4, 1560 as the eldest daughter of Ieyasu Tokugawa, and her mother is Ieyasu's wife, Lady Tsukiyama (later Lady Tsukiyama). The second shogun Hidetada, Yoshinao Owari, Yorinobu Kii, and Yorifusa Mito are the younger brothers of Kamehime.
In the 5th year of Eiroku, he moved to Okazaki Castle and became the wife of Nobumasa Okudaira at the age of 17 in the 4th year of Tensho (1575). It is said that on December 22, the same year, Yoshitsugu Nishio protected his litter and put it in the newly built Shinshiro Castle, but since it is actually a turbulent world, he fears that his litter will be robbed on the way. It is said that in July, Fujio secretly entered the castle with Kamehime on his back and was empty when he officially entered the castle.
He has lived in Kamehime's Shinshiro for 15 years, and his four sons, Ieharu, Tadamasa, and Tadaaki, are all born in Shinshiro.
