★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明神型鳥居。当主である近藤淑夫が平成九年に奉納したものとある。神額の奉納者は辻村氏とあった。
『埼玉の神社(下落合氷川神社の項目)』によると、近藤氏の先祖が京都に奉公に行った帰りに、八坂神社から勧請を受けたのが創建由来だそうである。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 何故ここに牛頭天王社があるのか由緒書きがないので不明です。八坂神社の祭神で牛の頭。持っている神くらいしか知りませんが。
