m	miho cchi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ドライブがてら車を走らせ1時間前に着いてカウンターの空きをギリギリ予約できた。店員の若い男の子が一生懸命なのがとても好印象で、店長さんは料理を作りながらも笑顔の対応で素敵。料理はどれも美味しかったが、ローストビーフは以前食べた時の方が安くて絶品だった。部位が違うせい？？残念なのは2019/12/30朝HPから問い合わせしたが返信が一切なかったこと。 I drove a car and arrived one hour ago and was able to make a last minute reservation for the vacancy at the counter. It is a very good impression that the young clerk is working hard, and the manager is wonderful because he smiles while cooking. All the dishes were delicious, but the roast beef was cheaper and exquisite when eaten before. Because the parts are different? ? Unfortunately, we inquired from the website on the morning of December 30, 2019, but there was no reply.

Surprised to find a restaurant serving foreign cuisine at this standard so far away from a main city, felt like I was back in Europe. Quality of ingredients was top notch. Spanish dishes were excellent, as were the Japanese (yakitori). Service was attentive (family-run vibe) and decor was quintessentially Mediterranean; but tastefully done, not tacky. We turned up without a reservation at 1740 on a Sunday to get a table, everyone else after us was turned away, reservations recommended.

You can tell a good restaurant by their restrained use of salt and sugar, and of course, quality ingredients. The chorizo dish shows their attention to detail and textures. Call ahead to check if they’re busy.

Anything around 1,500 is okay as long as the volume and attention to locally sourced ingredients is there. This set meal had quite a lot of food for only 1,100 yen, and it was really good! I got the fish set, which came with salmon as the main dish, along with some carpaccio-style sashimi, steak fries, a salad, and a miso soup. The person I was with got the pork set (using locally sourced meat), and said it was the best pork cutlet he'd ever had. He also can't eat gluten and they were able to tailor the menu to his dietary needs. The atmosphere inside is distinctly Spanish (if you couldn't tell by the name), and the Mission-style walls add a nice touch. The restaurant mainly specializes in tapas, and they serves a wide variety of dishes during the dinner hours (I was particularly interested in the seafood paella). They serve a variety of alcohol as well. I would also consider this restaurant within walking distance of Kyo-tango Omiya train station, for those looking for somewhere to eat without a car.
