★4つなのは、施設自体が少し古くなってきたのと、駐車場が軽自動車なら大丈夫でも普通車(ワゴンやバン)と少し狭く思える点です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 場所的には五所川原駅に近いので、公共交通機関で来るのは良いのですが、車で来るのは、JR五能線を跨ぐ平井大橋の側道に入り、突き当たりからまた側道に回らなければならず、ナビの無い車で来る方などは入口がわかりづらいかもしれません。なお、館内にはPCが1台あり、平日9時から16時まで、一人1回1時間（五所川原市立図書館は原則30分）という制限があるものの利用できます。JR五所川原駅ホームから建物が見えます。なお、新型コロナウイルス感染抑止による青森県の要請に伴い、中に入っている市役所社会教育係以外（=一般利用）は、臨時休館となっています。コロナワクチン接種される方は、五所川原市役所まで問い合わせして下さい。
The location is close to Goshogawara station, so it's good to come by public transportation, but if you come by car, enter the side road of Hirai Ohashi that straddles the JR Gono line, and turn to the side road again from the end. If you come by car without a navigation system, it may be difficult to find the entrance. In addition, there is one PC in the hall, and you can use it from 9:00 to 16:00 on weekdays, although there is a limit of 1 hour per person (30 minutes in principle for Goshogawara City Library). You can see the building from the platform of JR Goshogawara Station. In addition, due to the request of Aomori Prefecture to suppress the infection of the new coronavirus, the museum is temporarily closed except for the social education section of the city hall (= general use). If you are vaccinated against corona, please contact Goshogawara City Hall.
