Built for the Eiroku period (1558 to 1569). It is said that the peasants who lived in Yamatani Village started as a guardian of the town. During the Edo period, it was said to have been worshiped as "Inari-san on the bank" because it was enshrined beneath the bank of the Japanese bank. The deity is not a soul of Ukashino soul but a life-saving food. The shrine area is not large, but it is a small shrine, but it is well maintained and well-maintained, and you can visit it comfortably. In the precinct there is a stone called Rinoishi, which is said to have been lifted by Sannomiya Unosuke with his feet. ・No red stamp

A red fence that looks like Inari is seen when walking around the mountain valley digging that became an underdrain in Asakusa (photo) A small Inari-san (photo) when approaching Inari Looking at the origin, it is said that the peasants of Shitatani Village joined forces to establish Inari Shrine more than 400 years ago. (Photo) There is a large natural stone beside the red torii gate. (Photo) It is engraved with "Ashimochi stone" and "Sanomiya Unosuke". Apparently this stone is like a power stone. When visiting shrines, there are occasional places where power stones are placed in the precincts. During the off-season, the pride of peasants lifted stones and competed. However, this stone seems to be dedicated and cherished. Normally, there should be several types of Rikiishi, but when you see that the name is engraved on one, it seems that the person named Unosuke Sannomiya was a considerable celebrity at that time. I'll go home and check it out. Unosuke Sannomiya (Sannomiya Unosuke, 3rd year of culture (1806) --July 8th, 1854 (August 1st, 1854)) is Musashi Province Iwatsuki Ryo Minomiyamura (now Koshigaya) in the Edo period. I am a strong Edo graduate from the city. The name means "Unosuke of Sannomiya Village" and "Sannomiya" is not the surname. By nature, he was petite and weak, and was ridiculed by his powerlessness, so he made an outstanding appearance while practicing hard, and finally became a representative of Edo. At the age of 22, he lifted 70 pieces of power stones at Kawarazone Village Saishoin. Then, Unosuke gathered nearby things that he was proud of and started a powerful box office. His specialty was "lifting a human horse boat", which lifts the entire boat carrying a person riding a horse. Also, in June 1833, he performed a powerful art in front of Tokugawa Ienari. According to the "viewing power ranking table" at this time, it is Ozeki. At first, the entertainment destinations ranged from the Kanto area to Koshinetsu and Kansai areas in their 30s. He defeated Osaka's power in Edo and became the best in Japan, but died suddenly on his way home from being invited to the banquet of the business owner. There is also a poisoning theory of the other party. The name of the priest is Kiyoshi Kiyoshi. The graveyard is unknown. (From Wikipedia) It seems that he has become more powerful due to the weight training so far. One of his specialties is "lifting a human horse boat", which lifts the entire boat carrying a person riding a horse. You can see the situation in the leaflet at the time of business. A power technique that supports a boat, a horse, and a person with both feet while lying on his back. (Photo) At that time, there was no yokozuna and Ozeki was the highest (photo) Defeating Ozeki in the Kansai region, he became the most powerful player in Japan in the late Edo period. He also went to the Kansai area and showed his power. Even a stone statue is built by the power technique that is far from human beings. (Photo) (Himeji / Usukihachiman Shrine) The best power stone in Japan at Inari Shrine in Okegawa City, Saitama Prefecture. (Photo) It was lifted by Unosuke Sannomiya. Estimated 610 km It was at the age of 43. Suddenly died on the way home from the banquet on August 1, 1854. There is also a theory that it was poisoned. It is unknown where it was buried. I think he was buried in a temple near Ningyocho where he lived. Gassho to the pioneer of weight training

The bright vermilion torii gate and fence are the landmarks. There is "Chikaraishi of Unosuke Sannomiya" in the precincts.
