Best Gym in japan

C	Cesar Hurtado on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best gym in Tokyo, a little expensive but it is worth it if you have the money. But, I would say the mens restroom is never cleaned. There are urine stains, smells like a public restroom and is overall dirty. But I don't go there to use to restroom, but I would expect much more for ¥13000 a month.
C	Cliff Tanaka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Facilities are clean and staff is friendly. Not too large in terms of space. 1st floor has 20 or so machines plus 8 or so treadmills. a few ellipticals. B1 floor is free weight area with 3 flat benches, 5 adjustable benches, 3 squat racks among other machines. When the other Ginza Gold's Gym is closed, the place can feel cramped but otherwise, I haven't had problems waiting to use equipment. Equipped with showers and locker room but you have to bring your own towel. They have amenities. 4 stars instead of 5 for too much policing around the gym.

D	Dean DeLongchamp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you lift, finding a gym in Japan can be very difficult or impossible. Gold's Gym is the only one that has what you need. This location is especially well stocked. Six power racks, four bench press stations. Usually no waiting. One incline bench. Two week pass is a bargain for travelers, single day passes are not. Know and follow the rules. Only complaint about this location is that it is poorly air conditioned. Bring a change of clothes in the spring and summer because you will sweat through whatever you're wearing. Also bring a towel.

The reception area is equipped with all kinds of fitness equipment and supplements. Made to order drinks are available which you can enjoy in the lounge area. Unfortunately there is no wifi in the lounge area or gym. The equipment selection is thorough and generally in good condition. Lockers are available at no extra cost for members. The price of membership is higher than what I typically see in the states but perhaps the average is different in Japan. Expect to pay roughly $150/month plus an initial membership sign up fee. Towel service is available for extra. There are about a dozen private showers with shampoo/body wash provided. The sauna is very big in the men's locker room and there's also a hot tub. This place does get really busy after normal working hours on weekdays but no surprise there.
